What this covers, and what it does not
This notice covers this website only.
It does not cover video or personal data processed by a VijAI installation at a customer's plant. Where our software runs at a customer site, that customer is the Data Fiduciary. They decide what is recorded, why, and for how long. We act only as a Data Processor on their written instructions under the applicable agreement. Any question about what a particular plant records, who can see it, or how long footage is kept must be put to the operator of that plant, not to us.
What we collect and why
When you submit the enquiry form, message us on WhatsApp or email us, we collect your name, business contact details, company and whatever you write, and we use it to respond and to assess whether we can work together. We rely on your consent, given when you contact us.
Our servers log IP address, timestamp and page requested for security and diagnostics, as a legitimate use under Section 7 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 records which pages you viewed and where you arrived from. If you do not accept, no analytics identifier is set.
We do not sell personal data, build advertising profiles, or make automated decisions with legal effect. Please do not send us sensitive personal data through this website.
Who else handles it
Bitrix24 processes enquiry submissions on Indian infrastructure. Interakt handles WhatsApp conversations. Google Analytics processes website usage where consented. Each acts under contract on our instructions. We disclose personal data otherwise only where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a customer relationship: 24 months from last contact. Enquiries that do: for the contract term plus the period tax and company law requires. Server logs: 12 months. Analytics: per the retention setting in Google Analytics 4.
Your rights
You may ask us for a summary of your personal data and how we process it, ask us to correct or complete it, ask us to erase it where the purpose is served and no law requires us to keep it, nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or become incapacitated, and withdraw consent at any time as easily as you gave it. Withdrawal does not undo processing already carried out.

Grievances
connect@groupvb.com reaches a person able to answer on our behalf, as Section 13(3) of the Act contemplates. If our response does not satisfy you, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
This site is for business users. We do not knowingly process data of anyone under 18. Tell us if you think we have, and we will delete it.
Security and changes
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No system is perfectly secure and we do not warrant that internet transmission is free from interception. We may update this notice; the current version and its date appear above.
